Journalism teaching competition seeks nominees [US]

Outstanding US journalism teachers can be nominated for an award.
The Distinguished Teaching in Journalism Award, sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists, recognizes a journalism teacher who has outstanding teaching ability, and has made significant contributions to journalism. Anyone teaching in the field of journalism is eligible.
Students, former students, colleagues and other professionals can submit nominations. Past winners include Max Branscomb, of Southwestern College, and Lydia Chavez, of the University of California, Berkeley.
