Journalists who are Russian citizens can participate in this contest.

The Russian Union of Journalists is seeking participants for the "Journalists Against Terror" contest. The contest aims to increase the role of Russian media and the journalism community in the fight against terrorism.

Submissions should highlight topics such as "Terrorism: Past and Present," "Victims of Terror." Articles must have been published in the official print and electronic media between Oct. 1, 2012 and Sept. 30, 2013.

The winners in each category will be awarded with various certificates and prizes.

The deadline is Oct. 5.
