Journalists have the opportunity to apply for a training program on reporting regional integration of history, politics and economics. The program is offered by the South African Development Community (SADC), of The Institute for the Advancement of Journalism and the International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) based in Berlin, Germany. The deadline to apply is February 15.

The training program will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is open to journalists worldwide. Only 15 participants will be chosen, with no more than three from one country.

The program will consist of two parts, the first being from March 31- April 4 and the second from April 7- April 11. Bursaries are available to cover travel, tuition, accommodation and meals.
