The 12th annual Pan-African communications event, AfricaCom, will take place November 11 and 12 in Cape Town, South Africa. The event aims to reflect Africa's telecommunications landscape in both its Congress and accompanying Exhibition.

Among the topics to be covered: technology evolution for high-speed data access; mobile finance; network management; content and entertainment; regulation; 3G and mobile evolution; wireleses broadband; low-cost infrastructure; and more.

All journalists and industry press are welcome to attend the event free of charge as long as they satisfy the terms of the press policy. According to the organizer, Informa Telecoms & Media, qualified journalists currently working for commercial news/publishing organizations are invited.
