A competition that seeks to encourage the disclosure of information regarding the oil and gas industries in Kazakhstan is seeking entries from Kazakh journalists and bloggers. Deadline to apply: February 15.

Potential topics include: Issues of the disclosure of profits and economic development; Sustainable development; Management of resources in natural resources industries; Disclosure of budgets; Corporate social responsibility; and more.

Competition winners will receive cash prizes. Submitted materials must have been published or aired between September 2009 and February 2010.

Entries must be submitted in Kazakh and Russian at vassilina@medianet.kz and ziyadin@medianet.kz
