Journalists from Latin America and the Caribbean can learn about investigative journalism and its role in today’s digital landscape during this two-hour webinar.

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is offering a webinar, “The Elements of Investigative Journalism: Principles and Practicalities”.

The webinar will help attendees to learn the basic concepts and methodologies for conducting investigative journalism on any beat or topic.

The two-hour webinar will take place November 29 at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time. The course will be taught in English by Brant Houston, professor and Knight chair of investigative reporting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Registration costs US$30. Participants will receive a certificate from the Knight Center.

The deadline for registration is November 28 at 12 p.m. Central Standard Time.
