Kyoto journalism fellowship open [US]

Journalists and freelancers based in the United States who are interested in science, arts and technology can apply for a fellowship.

The Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) offers the Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship to journalists who attained a level of excellence in their field and hope to advance their knowledge in the areas of technology, sciences and the arts.

With travel, lodging and per-diem expenses covered, the fellow will to travel to San Diego in March for the Kyoto Prize Symposium to participate in VIP receptions, lectures, presentations and workshops.

Professional science, art and technology writers, editors in print, radio and broadcast media and freelancers are eligible to apply.

Journalists must submit a letter of support from their employer, two work samples and two essays by February 8.
