Limited spots open for investigative journalism workshop in Mexico

Safety and drug trafficking in the Americas is the main theme of an investigative journalism seminar, scheduled for November 14 and 15 in Mexico City. Deadline: November 7.
Centro Latinoamericano de Periodismo (CELAP) is organizing this seminar-workshop that will examine the following topics: origins of drug trafficking in Latin America; the Colombian case; Pablo Escobar and the big bosses of the 1980s; the 1990s: drug trafficking is transformed; the press: the word under fire; 21st century: the new drug trafficking era; and the current situation of drug trafficking in Latin America.
Registration costs US$1,000, which includes lodging, and US$500, not including lodging.
