Print, broadcast or online journalists working for outlets in the United States can apply for this award.

The Livingston Awards for Young Journalists for local, national and international reporting are the largest all-media, general-reporting prizes in the United States.

Journalists ages 34 and younger can enter works related to current events or new information about old events. Three awards of US$10,000 will be given to three journalists.

Previous winners include Christiane Amanpour and Ira Glass.

Features and commentary are eligible. Postmark entries by February 1.
