A limited number of scholarships are available to journalists worldwide for an MBA degree in media and communication, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the 2009-2010 academic year. Deadline: November 15.

Offered by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, among other organizations, the program is divided into 12 months of online lecture and four weeks of face-to-face discussions. The idea is to prepare students to take on managerial roles in communication.

The course costs EU€200 (about US$265) for admission plus EU€7,500 (about US$9,980) for tuition. Scholarships may be requested by applicants or media organizations on their behalf.
