Journalists are encouraged to submit research articles, short investigations or reviews on topics related to media and communication to the Journal of Media and Communication Studies.

The open access journal is published monthy. All manuscripts are reviewed by an editor and members of the Editorial Board or qualified outside reviewers. Decisions will be made as rapidly as possible, and the journal strives to return reviewers’ comments to authors within three weeks. The editorial board will re-review manuscripts that are accepted pending revision.

Authors are required to pay a US$550 handling fee.
