Mentorship offered for working science journalists
Deadline:
The World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) is offering mentorship for qualified science journalists, ideally from Africa and the Middle East. Training is available in English, French and Arabic. Application deadline: April 24.
Applicants must have three years of working experience in science journalism, be presently working as a journalist, and receive recommendation from a current editor or organization where they publish work (as a freelancer).
Mentorship will enable journalists to develop their reporting skills and learn from people with expertise in the science and technology journalism field. Print, Web and radio journalists will be given priority, but TV journalists may be considered.
