Deadline:

9/14/12

Young adults worldwide between the ages of 12 and 25 can participate in this competition.

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is holding an international contest to find the perfect outreach toolkit to get the word out about short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) using a range of traditional and new methods.

The CCAC is accepting proposals for ways to disseminate information on pollutants via social media, and for breaking news on issues related to SLCPs.

Other contest categories include best audio-visual product that communicates SLCP impacts and opportunities to address them; best description of what defines an SLCP; and best tagline or slogan for the CCAC.

The winner in each category will receive a photograph by renowned filmmaker, photographer and United Nations Energy Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador Yann Arthus-Bertrand, along with a certificate. The overall winner will receive a fully paid trip with a chaperon to a CCAC meeting. The winning concept will also be implemented or displayed by the coalition and receive a photograph by Arthus-Bertrand.

The application deadline is September 14.
