Multimedia reporting fellowship open
Graduate students in journalism interested in databases and multimedia can apply for a paid fellowship.
The Sunlight Foundation offers the John E. Moss Reporting Fellowship, a six-month program in Washington, D.C.
Fellows will write short daily posts for the reporting site, while working on in-depth investigative reports and producing instructional materials, including videos and webinars.
Applicants should be familiar with online news sites and the general political landscape and have good organizational, writing and Internet research skills. Some experience in computer-assisted reporting and working knowledge of tools such as Excel, Access, HTML, Javascript, photography, video and SQL is a plus.
Submit a cover letter, resume and writing samples to apply. Fellowships begin June 2012.
