Multimedia journalists can register to attend the Transmedia Lab.

Launched with the goal of revealing the best multimedia projects in Latin America, the Transmedia Lab is part of the RioContentMarket, an international congress on multi-platform content production. The event will be held February 20 - 22 in Rio de Janeiro.

Applicants are invited to submit up to three projects between December 10 and 28. The fee is BR$400 (about US$200).

A committee will select 20 Brazilian projects and 10 international projects. Lab participants will pitch their projects to media executives and meet with tutors to improve their ideas.

Organized by the Brazilian Association of Independent Television Producers, the RioContentMarket brings together mobile and broadcast executives, programmers, creators and producers to discuss ideas about technology, information and entertainment.

General registration to attend all the panels and presentations is free but required. The deadline is February 1.
