Photographers whose work captures the essence of a sense of place can win an all-expenses paid trip to Thailand with National Geographic photographer Alison Wright.

To participate, submit up to three images that capture a sense of place. These can be thematically varied including shots of culture, cuisine, or people. Photographs do not need to be of Thailand; National Geographic is looking for the best travel photographs from anywhere in the world.

Seven winners will accompany National Geographic Travel Photographer Alison Wright on an amazing all-expenses paid trip to Thailand. The best photographs from the trip will be featured in a gallery exhibit in New York.

The contest is open to U.S. residents only, 21 years of age or older.

The deadline for submissions is September 30.
