Russian photojournalists can enter a nature photography contest.

National Geographic Russia and the Russian Geographic Society are accepting entries for the Russian Wildlife 2012 photo contest.

Submitted entries must be photos that taken in Russia. Acceptable subjects include landscapes and wild animals in their natural habitat. Applicants can submit up to 10 photos in .jpeg format.

The first prize is RUB300,000 (about US $9,466).
