Washington-based journalists can apply for a fellowship.

The National Press Foundation presents the Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship, providing a primer on Washington agencies, institutions and organizations, while delivering fresh sources, story ideas and unparalleled opportunities to get to know and learn from other journalists.

Through nine, daylong seminars held once a month from September through June, journalists will experience on-the-record access to officials, experts and seasoned journalists; site visits; innovative online tools training and discussions on journalism issues.

Applications are encouraged from journalists who have been based in Washington for less than two years, regardless of platform or experience. This may include international journalists based in Washington.
