New York Times internship programs accepting applications

College seniors and graduate students in the United States can apply for various 2013 summer internship programs.
The New York Times offers 10-week summer internships to students dedicated to a career in journalism.
Interns will receive US$900 a week, and housing is available on New York University's campus for US$1,000 monthly.
Four reporting interns in New York will be James Reston Reporting Fellows and the reporting intern in Washington, D.C. will be a David E. Rosenbaum Fellow.
The Thomas Morgan Internships in Visual Journalism will place one intern each in design, photography and graphics. Digital, multimedia and interactive news internships are also available..
The Dow Jones Newspaper Fund selects interns for the copy-editing desk, who will receive an additional US$1,000 scholarship.
General requirements include a cover letter, resume and work samples, though some programs require additional materials.
The deadline for all programs is October 27.
