The New York Times is seeking an experienced video journalist to join its Washington bureau.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing video programming — live and taped — in close collaboration with editors and reporters in The Times Washington Bureau and the newsroom in New York.
The video journalist will be writing, shooting and producing news and enterprise segments, and must demonstrate strong location production skills. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced news environment and have thorough knowledge of a wide range of subjects — in particular, national politics and public policy. Collaborative team-building skills are essential.
