The New Yorker is seeking an online business editor to edit and assign blog posts to New Yorker staff writers and freelancers on the subjects of business and innovation, write blog posts, and help oversee and re-imagine the way that outlet covers business online.

The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of experience as a business journalist, an ability to quickly come up with story ideas and master unfamiliar publishing tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once, including unexpected breaking-news projects.
