NewsU, Poynter host webinar on social media, election coverage [Worldwide]

Reporters, editors, producers and bloggers and others covering the 2012 U.S. presidential elections can participate in a webinar.
News University, the Poynter Institute e-learning project, is hosting "Social Media and Your 2012 Election Coverage."
Led by Poynter managing director Butch Ward, the one-hour webinar will cover how campaigns use social media to communicate directly with voters, a coverage strategy for the upcoming elections and how to use social media to improve coverage of election night.
The cost is US$9.95, thanks to sponsor support from the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.
The webinar will be held at 2 p.m. EST November 30.
