Nominees sought for Rolls-Royce broadcasting awards
Nominations for the Rolls-Royce Awards for Broadcasting Excellence will be accepted until April 2, 1999. All members of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA), full or affiliate, may apply for the second annual honors.
The three awards recognize cost effective engineering, effectiveness in training, and innovation in management. The 1998 engineering award went to the to the Radio Corporation of Singapore. The South African Broadcasting Corporation claimed the training award for its Train the Trainer course in television presenting. The most innovative managers were found at Radio New Zealand International.
