NPR seeks an experienced digital journalist with a passion for local news, disruptive technologies and how news, technology and people come together.

Th news specialist will be part of an editorial team that’s responsible for working with public broadcasting stations to shape and deliver compelling local content. This person is responsible for working with stations on digital storytelling tools and practices, called upon to lead training sessions and guide stations in digital approaches and responsible for following and sharing digital journalism trends.

Qualifications for the news specialist include a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent, a least five years experience as a journalist and a proven track record working with seasoned journalists in a major news organization.
