Working journalists interested in developing their creative writing for different journalistic genres can apply for this online course.

The course, offered by the Centro de Formación en Periodismo Digital (CFPD) in Mexico, will focus on journalism and creativity. It will be held Sept. 17 to Nov. 3 and will be taught by Óscar Tagle.

During the course the participant will work on perfecting their synthesis and mental agility to write short newspaper texts, applying different techniques and literary resources. It is essential that all participants have prior knowledge of journalistic genres and be familiar with the writing style of informative articles and reports.

The course costs MXN1.200 or US$120 for residents outside of Mexico.
