Peter Jennings Prize seeking entries

The Peter Jennings Prize recognizes a journalist in any medium whose work helps people appreciate and better understand the role the Constitution plays in 21st-century American life.

Individual or group entries are accepted and must have been published between Oct. 1, 2010-Sept. 30, 2011. Entrants should note the theme for the Peter Jennings Project is “The Constitution in Our Midst,” which highlights how the Constitution is relevant here and now. Editorials and essays are eligible but reported works will receive special consideration.

Along with a cash prize of US$5,000, the winner's work will be featured on the website for the Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution.

The deadline for applications is December 9.
