Professional and amateur photographers of any nationality are invited to submit photo or video portfolios about Latin America's cultural heritage.

Organized by the Regional Center for Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Latin America (CRESPIAL), the contest aims to create an inventory of photos and videos about the region's cultural heritage.

Digital photos can be submitted with a minimum size of 1400x900 pixels. Photographs can be horizontal or vertical and in color or black and white. Video submissions must have a minimum run time of three minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes, including the credits.

The first place in the photo contest wins a cash prize of USD$1,500 while the winner of the video category will be awarded a cash prize of USD$3,000.
