Photo contest for agricultural journalists open

Photojournalists from the member countries of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists can participate in this contest.
The International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) is accepting entries for the 2012 IFAJ Star Prize for Agricultural Photography, which recognizes the best agricultural photography of 2012.
The contest is open in three categories: people, production and nature/landscape. Accepted are entries on agricultural subjects published in print or online media between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. Participants may enter only one photo in each of the three categories.
There is no entry fee for members in good standing with a national guild that is affiliated with the IFAJ. There is a fee of EUR€25 (US$33) for entries submitted by nonmembers.
The winners in each category will receive a certificate and EUR€500 (US$670). The overall winner will receive an additional EUR€250 (US$330) and an IFAJ golden pin.
The deadline is May 1.
