Photojournalists and amateur photographers who are Russian citizens can participate in this contest.

The Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation are seeking participants for the "Best Photos of Russia" contest.

Submissions should highlight various aspects of Russian culture, and provide unique photographic insights into Russian life.

The submitted photos must have been taken in Russia between September 2011 and October 2012.

Prizes include several subscriptions for various newspapers and magazines, a Nikon 1 camera and a publication in the Russian Photo and Discovery magazines.

The application deadline is October 15.
