Photojournalists and photographers worldwide can enter this contest.

Pikto is accepting submissions for its 2012 Top Pick contest, which will recognize the best series of 15 photographs that tells a cohesive story.

Judges will be looking for overall themes, genuine voice and artistic vision. All 15 images submitted must fit into a coherent whole that can be shown at a gallery.

The contest winner will receive US$5,000 toward the production of a gallery exhibit at the Pikto Gallery in Toronto. The opening reception and travel costs for the artist cannot exceed US$1,000.

The submission deadline is November 1.
