The U.S.-based Poynter Institute, a school and resource for journalists, is offering an intensive multimedia bootcamp for young journalists from May 17 to 29 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Deadline: January 30.

The program is open to college and graduate students interested in writing, photojournalism, design, information graphics, broadcast and multimedia.

Tuition is free, but participants are responsible for travel and housing expenses. Some affordable accommodations have been arranged at the University of South Florida.
