Print reporters ponder freedom, ethics and investigation
Journalists from different Jordanian newspapers are participating in a workshop on investigative reporting, online journalism and press freedom.
The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate organized the training from July 8 to 13 in Amman, the Center for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ) reported. The German embassy in Amman was supporting the workshop in cooperation with Dortmund University and the Jordanian News Agency (Petra).
According to CDFJ, 20 print journalists were to participate in the workshop at Petra’s headquarters. The goal: to improve their writing and investigation skills while increasing their knowledge of issues related to press freedom and ethics, among other topics.
