Prize to highlight coverage of Brazilian stock market [Brazil]

Journalists who write about finance can compete for a prize.

Organized by BM&FBOVESPA, São Paulo's stock exchange, the prize aims to recognize stories that contribute for the development of the Brazilian stock and derivatives market.

Five top prizes of BR$6,000 (about US$3,200) will be distributed in each category: newspaper - São Paulo/Rio de Janeiro; magazine - São Paulo/Rio de Janeiro; print media - other Brazilian cities and capitals; online media, including reports published in a foreign language other than Portuguese or by international correspondents based in Brazil; and financial and agribusiness derivatives.

Stories must have been published in the press or on the online media between October 23, 2010 and October 21, 2011.
