Journalists, communicators, researchers and students can enroll in a series of programs on science and public communication, to be held in Cordoba, Argentina.

The program, titled “la Ciencia de multiplicar el conocimiento” (Science of multiplying knowledge), will cover the following agenda:

1. Course in science journalism, intended for journalists, Thursdays in October. Deadline: September 19.

2. Course in science and technology dissemination, intended for researchers, October 20 to 24. Deadline: September 24.

3. First seminar on communication for innovation, intended for businessmen and technologists, November 7 and 8, at Salón Auditorio del Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología (MinCyT). Spots are limited.

4. Workshop on Screenplay and Production of Science Audiovisuals, intended for students, college professors and audiovisual professionals, November 17 to 19, at Pabellón Argentina, Universidad Nacional de Cordoba. Registration is free but required.

5. First Iberoamerican Seminar on Television and Science, November 19 to 22 at Paseo del Buen Pastor. Registration is free.

Participants can apply for scholarships for the program, organized by Argentina’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
