ProPublica offers news applications fellowship [US]

Journalists, developers and designers with knowledge of Ruby, Javascript or Python are invited to apply.

ProPublica seeks a news applications fellow to work with its world-class news applications desk.

Applicants can be coders who are civic-minded and interested in working with journalistic problems and data sets, a journalism school graduate who wants to tell stories with code or a digital humanities student looking to try their skills in journalism.

Ideal candidates should have solid skills in Ruby, Javascript or Python. Send a resume and a list of your project URLs to scott.kleinATpropublicaDOTorg.

The fellowship lasts up to a year and is paid US$800 a week plus benefits. The start date is around the end of August.
