Pulliam student newspaper fellowships accepting applications [US]

Journalism students in the U.S. can apply for a paid reporting fellowship.

The Pulliam Fellowship program places college students and new graduates at either The Indianapolis Star or The Arizona Republic for the summer of 2011. Fellows will act as a member of the newsroom and participate in writing workshops. Fellows earn US$650 per week for the duration of the 10-week program.

Past Pulliam fellows include Paul Glader, reporter for The Wall Street Journal and John Fritze, reporter for USA Today. College juniors, seniors and graduate students enrolled in a journalism program are eligible to apply.
