Asian and Polynesian broadcasters are invited to attend the next conference to be held by the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association for the Asia-Pacific region on February 9 to 13 in Tonga. Deadline: February 1.

The conference, titled “Broadcasting for a Better Tomorrow,” will begin with a two-day workshop on climate change coverage, followed by panels on media freedom challenges, political reporting and election coverage, and planning for the digital age, among other topics.

The conference is free to full-time employees of CBA member organizations. Registration for non-members costs AUD$100 (about US$65).
