Cultural journalists, including arts writers, critics and academics working for magazines, newspapers, radio, television, new media platforms or any other form of media can attend one of three festivals.

Unpack the Arts is a European project that offers residencies for cultural journalists in the context of festivals in the following cities: Auch, France; London, UK and Stockholm, Sweden.

At the end of the residencies, each participant will deliver one 2,000 word article which will be published online in its original language and as an English translation.

Applicants must have good spoken and written English and be residents of one of the 35 countries participating in the culture program of the European Commission - Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus Republic, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and United Kingdom.
