Journalists from Western Africa can apply for a reporting course on economics organized by Reuters held in Lagos, Nigeria.

The free course, sponsored by the Thomson Reuters Foundation, is designed to help journalists in Western Africa strengthen their reporting skills on financial and economic topics.

The course will include detailed briefings, presentations by guest speakers and in-depth discussions. Participants will also have the opportunity to do practical exercises and live reporting.

Applicants must be business journalists working in Western Africa, have at least two years’ professional experience and fluency in English. The course covers travel expenses and accommodation.
