Journalists in China can apply for a course on reporting crises and disasters.

The course, sponsored by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and Tsinghua University, will give a foundation in the challenges and techniques involved in covering international-scale crises and disasters.

The course is open to journalists from China currently working full- time for a Chinese media organizations who have a good level of spoken and written English.

The program sponsors will cover course fees. Participants from outside Beijing may need to cover travel and accommodation costs.
