Thomson Reuters seeks an financial journalist to break important news and write ahead-of-the-curve stories and analysis from New Delhi on India’s economy and economic policy.

The special correspondent will collaborate with the money, politics and general news team on breaking news, from the annual budget to key policy announcements and the release of economic indicators.

The journalist will also work closely with companies and markets reporters in New Delhi and Mumbai to ensure Reuters breaks news on policy developments that affect corporations and the trading community such as tax reform, pension reform or market regulations.

Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience reporting on the Indian economy. Fluent Hindi and strong people skills are also required.
