Scholarship open to Russian journalists

Journalists who are citizens of the Russian Federation and have at least two years of reporting experience can apply for a spot in this program. 

Chevening Scholarships, the U.K. government’s global scholarship program funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations, is offering a program for outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study post-graduate courses at U.K. universities.

Most Chevening Scholarships cover tuition fees, a living allowance (for one individual), a return airfare to the U.K. and additional grants to cover essential expenditures.

To participate in the program, applicants must display both intellectual ability and clear leadership potential, and be committed to return to his/her home country and contribute to its socio-economic development by implementing the new skills and knowledge acquired in the U.K. Applicants must have a knowledge of English that corresponds with the program's language requirements.

The deadline for applications is December 7.
