Brazilian journalists interested in graduate study in the United Kingdom can apply.

The British Embassy in Brazil and Chevening Scholarships are offering Brazilian scholars the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom with the goal of making a difference in their own country. This year 30 Brazilians will be selected.

Awards are typically for a one-year master’s degree at any UK university. Scholars receive paid tuition, a living allowance and airfare.

The scholarships are offered for many fields of study, including journalism and communications, climate change, sustainability and energy, business, finance, economics and public administration, international relations, human rights, development, security and conflict.

Applicants must have an excellent undergraduate academic track record, two years' working experience and be fluent in English.

The application deadline is December 20.

The British Embassy and Chevening also present Brazil Chevening Scholarship Cambridge, specifically for the University of Cambridge. The application deadline for the University of Cambridge is December 4.
