Students pursuing a degree in radio or television can apply for a scholarship.

The Radio Television Digital News Association offers two scholarships for students. The Abe Schechter Graduate Scholarship was founded to honor radio journalist Abe Schechter, the first vice president of news for NBC, and provides US$2,000 to a graduate student anywhere in the world.

The Pete Wilson Scholarship is a US$2,000 scholarship awarded to students from the San Francisco Bay Area pursuing a journalism undergraduate or graduate degree.

Candidates must be enrolled or about to enroll in a journalism program. Candidates may only apply for one scholarship.
