The Emerging Science Journalists Award, from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, is intended to encourage the next generation of science journalists and communicators in Canada. “Science” is defined in the competition as any aspect of the natural, biomedical and social sciences, including engineering and technology.

Winners will be selected on the basis of a detailed project proposal. The two best proposals will receive CAD$2,500 (about US$2,520). For more information, click here.
