Science journalism seminar to take place in Italy

Journalists from throughout the world are invited to attend a science journalism seminar in Sicily, Italy, from July 6 to 9, which will discuss critical issues for those interested in communicating science to the public. Deadline: June 1.
Through lectures and discussions, the workshop will aim to encourage a new generation of science communicators to develop new tools and strategies for communicating the issues to the wider public.
At the event, lectures will be led by international experts in the fields of science, journalism and communication, including Hiromi Yokoyama from the University of Tokyo, Robert D Brown from Stanford University, and Peter Green from the Alpha Galileo Foundation, in London, UK.
The program is being organized by the International School of Scientific Journalism and Communication, the Ettore Majorana Foundation and the Center for Scientific Culture.
