U.S. science writers can apply for an internship in Washington, D.C.

The internship is sponsored by Science magazine, the largest circulating weekly of basic research. The intern will join the regular news staff and devote most of his or her time to contributing to the magazine and to ScienceNOW, a daily online news service.

Candidates should have completed their undergraduate education or be in their senior year of college when they apply. Having a science background is advantageous but not required. Science pays a modest salary.
