Recent journalism and science graduates can apply for a paid writing internship.

The EU Universe Awareness (EU-UNAWE) and UNESCO endorsed program that uses astronomy to inspire children aged 4-10 years, is looking for a science writing intern.

The intern will be required to write stories for EU-UNAWE's news service for children aged 8+, called Space Scoop, write regular updates for the website, and other related tasks.

Applicants must have a permit to work in the European Union, fluent English and excellent writing skills.

This is a full-time paid internship for three months based at the organization's International Office at Leiden University, the Netherlands, with the possibility for extension for a further three months.

Deadline for applications is August 8.
