A media conference to be held in Singapore invites paper submissions on topics which can include media in a globalizing world, new media and media development. The deadline to submit paper abstracts is February 1, 2010. The conference will be held June 21 to 23 at Suntec City, Singapore.

The conference, the 19th Asian Media Information and Communication Centre Annual Conference, is under the theme "Technology and Culture: Communication Connectors and Dividers." Abstracts should be a maximum two pages and double spaced.

The conference will be attended by academics, media industry professionals, government agency representatives, policymakers, research groups and independent institutions.

The event is held by the Asia Media Information and Communication Centre.
