Journalists interested in social media and marketing can attend an international conference in London.
The Social Media World Forum, sponsored by Six Degrees, will feature keynote speakers, brand case studies, debates, workshops and networking. The agenda includes using social media for brand building; location based marketing; and building social media marketing strategies.
Speakers include Josh Williams, CEO of the social network Gowalla and Kerry Bridge, the Global Digital Media Communications Manager for Dell. The cost for a one-day pass is £355 (about US$570), and both days costs £535 (about US$860).
A free exhibition and networking fair runs parallel to the event, offering the chance to engage and network with an anticipated 4,000+ attendees and cutting-edge industry players.
The free exhibition also features a social media hub area with interactive discussions on business insight and creating a social media tool box.
This conference is geared to European participants, but similar conferences will be held in Africa, North America, the Middle East and Asia later this year.
